The Kristoffersen Family
The story of the Kristoffersen family is one of sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our country.
Jon, a Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician, has served our country for almost 23 years, going through deployment hardships that most of us couldn't even imagine. Throughout it all, his wife Randi has stood by his side, offering unwavering support and a deep sense of loyalty. In fact, Randi is currently serving as the Ombudsman in Jon's command at the EOD Mobile Unit 5, a testament to her dedication to her husband's service. They have three beautiful children who share in both the highs and the lows of servicing our country and who have all grown beautifully in strength and resilience.
Recently, the Kristoffersen family received new orders to move to Guam, which is the second time around for their family! Having known the lay of the land and despite still being overseas, they had already started looking for a dwelling place in Guam, and after just a handful of searches they finally found the one that they would eventually call home.
However, purchasing a home sight unseen is not an easy task. Guiding them through every step of the process was a sacred calling and responsibility we do not take lightly. We were determined to perform thorough due diligence to ensure that they could confidently purchase the property. It was more than just a duty to us; it was a chance to express our gratitude for their service. As we worked together, we felt a deep privilege to be able to support them in such a significant way. We were humbled to walk alongside them and provide them with the help and guidance they needed to make an informed decision. We committed ourselves wholeheartedly to this endeavor, conducting a detailed inspection of the property and providing a comprehensive report that outlined all the necessary information they needed. It was our hope that our efforts would allow them to make the best decision for themselves and their families. In the end, we were left with a profound sense of gratitude and appreciation for the sacrifices they have given for our country which are immeasurable, and we were privileged to have the opportunity to assist them in such a meaningful way.
For us, it was more than just finding them a good home.
We wanted to help them find a place they could truly call their own, a home that could serve as their refuge throughout all the deployments and time apart. We envisioned to find a place where they could come back to after a long time apart and be surrounded by the warmth and love of their family in this piece of paradise that is just for them.
Coming back to Guam was even more special for the Kristoffersens, as it was their first home together in 2016. They feel blessed to own a little piece of paradise that they can call their own. For Randi, home has never been a place. It's always been about the people, the family that she and Jon have created together. As a military spouse, she's learned how to create a sense of home no matter where they are in the world. To Randi, Guam is different. It's special. It's a place that holds a special meaning in their hearts, and they're thrilled to be able to call it home.

Since moving in to their home, they have shown such hospitality by hosting fun gatherings that have connected military spouses and have allowed military couples fun "date nights" together. To know Jon and Randi is to know friends for life! They are now currently undergoing their first home remodel and we are here for the journey!
Working with the Kristoffersen family was an absolute pleasure. We're grateful to have been able to help them find their home in Guam, that although temporary, will leave a lasting impression and cherished memories for a lifetime. We can't thank them enough for their service and the sacrifices they've made for our country.
